Betting on baseball can be very profitable over the other sports. The national past time offers many advantages that make it my favorite sport to bet on.

Baseball is a game of stats. In baseball there are stats for just about everything. There are all kinds of hitting stats. Daytime stats, nighttime stats, indoor and outdoor stats and many more are part of the game. No other sport except for maybe horse racing has these numerous of numbers to help handicapper to pick the winning side. Baseball is all about the numbers. It is also about streaks. There are winning streaks, losing streaks, hitting streaks and so many more. All this will help the sports handicapper make a more intelligent decision.

To bet baseball effectively you need a system that will factor in all the common baseball stats and streaks. You have to evaluate the stats, bet consistently bet on the team with the more favorable numbers. Repeat this process, it will produce winning selections. By doing this you are playing the percentages and over time you will win far more than you lose. Just be consistent and follow the numbers. Remember to always bet on the team with the best numbers / percentages and not get sidetracked and bet on teams offering lucrative payouts. Stick with the numbers and over the season you will profit very nicely.

Good pitching beats hitting every day. Focus on the starting pitchers versus the hitting rotation. Don’t stop here, take a look at the bullpen. Very rarely does a starting pitcher go the distance. Check the bullpen stats, specially the saver.
